Welcome to the Market Bulletin! Many exciting things are happening at the WVDA. The Market Bulletin first debuted in 1916 under the direction of Agriculture Commissioner James H. Stewart. Over the years it has gone through many redesigns. For the first time in its history, the Bulletin is in color. We hope our long-time and new subscribers alike enjoy the vibrancy color brings to our stories. And while our look has changed, the purpose of the Bulletin remains the same. We do our very best to cover a broad spectrum of agriculture stories and keep our readers informed about what is happening here at the WVDA. Our classified ad section continues to be free for state residents and, of course, our What’s Cookin’ recipe page may be the most popular in the Bulletin. Please feel free to contact us with your comments and suggestions about the Bulletin by emailing marketbulletin@wvda.us.

April 2025

Phone-In ads for the April issue must be received by 12 noon on Thursday, March 13.
Written ads for the April issue must be received by 1 p.m. on, Friday, March 14.

May 2025

Phone-In ads for the May issue must be received by 12 noon on Monday, April 14.
Written ads for the May issue must be received by 1 p.m. on, Tuesday, April 15.

For electronic subscriptions to the Market Bulletin, please state that you would like to receive the Bulletin and give the e-mail address that you would like the Bulletin sent to electronically. If you receive the Bulletin by mail and prefer to have it sent electronically, state your complete name and address so that we may remove you from the postal mailing list.

Market Bulletin Subscription Rate

The out-of-state Market Bulletin subscription cost is $10 per year. A two-year subscription is $16.
